This blog is designed for the women of Warrior PresWIC to stay informed, be encouraged, and, hopefully, learn more about Warrior PresWIC.
A blog format was chosen for several reasons. First, maintaining a blog is a fairly simple process thus keeping things updated should be easier. Second, a blog is interactive. You can (and are invited to) leave a comment. It is also the hope of the council that you will submit things for presentation on this site. Think of it as one of the many ways women can encourage, mentor, and edify one another in the 21st century!
What can be submitted? Really almost anything--and "good" writing is not a requirement! Book titles (and reviews, if you wish), recipes, theological thoughts, poems, reviews of movies, child rearing tips, homemaking hints, gardening ideas, upcoming events at your church, pictures of WIC events--the possibilities are endless. The only thing that probably isn't good are email forwards as those get around very quickly so most have already seen it! As more and more things get submitted and published, the site and the information it contains will grow.
Also, be sure to scroll through the side bar. Church links, links of interest, upcoming PresWIC events, etc. can be found there.
Because PresWIC is under the authority of Warrior Presbytery and the PCA, we will diligently work to make sure that this site and the information contained lines up with the teachings of Scripture and make this site available to Warrior Presbytery for review.
